Step 1: How Many Licenses?
We know how trials work, and that's why each TrialFusion license allows one (1) user to place the software on their PC AND on a laptop for use in court.

Step 2: What Kind of Hardware?
TrialFusion has two ways of retrieving your exhibits in court, using a 10-key pad or a barcode scanner:
10-Key Pad
The unique ID number located on the barcode of your TrialFusion exhibit can be entered on your laptop number keys. A USB keypad can also be purchased (<$25) at most office supply stores and attached to your computer. Simply enter the number and press "Enter" to retrieve your exhibit in publish mode.
Linear Scanner
A linear barcode scanner is ideal for displaying pictures in TrialFusion's "Publish" mode. This scanner will display a thin red laser beam for you to slide the barcode under. The lines of the TrialFusion barcode will need to be perpendicular to this type of scanner's laser.
Omnidirectional Scanner
An omnidirectional scanner is the perfect way to make your photos display the first time, every time in court. Simply slide the TrialFusion barcode under the scanner with little regard for orientation, and the pictures will display without a hitch.More expensive but worth the money.
A note on these scanners
We chose these two scanners based on price, ease of installation and scanning features. We are happy to order them (at no profit to us) for you. However, feel free to look around and find one on your own and purchase it- just make sure it is "Code39" compliant and that it works with your laptop.
